Technical data

Our hosting provider (Hostinger) processes standard server logs including IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp, and security events under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to deliver and protect the site. Logs are deleted within 30 days.

Cookies, Google Consent Mode v2 & format finder

By default, Google Consent Mode v2 sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization to denied. Essential local storage (key cr_cookie_consent) stores your cookie preference (§ 25(2) TDDDG). Optional analytics or campaign cookies load only if you click Accept All (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). The format finder runs locally in your browser; answers are not sent to us or stored.

External & affiliate course links

When you follow a provider link or an affiliate link via /go/ (including Babbel GmbH, Goethe-Institut, or vhs-Lernportal), that organisation receives the technical request required to load its page and applies its own privacy policy. We do not collect enrolment or payment information.
